Before moving to Central Australia, Kate studied history, philosophy, politics and sociology at Monash University in Melbourne.

After tapping into a well-spring of creative genius in her early 20s, she moved to Central Australia to refine her meditational practices and disappear into the landscape.

While working in local government in Mparntwe / Alice Springs, Kate became a librarian. She spent many years bringing recreational and educational programs to children and young people in the community of Mpartwe / Alice Springs.

As well as being a performance artist and playwright, Kate is also a qualified teacher, holding a Masters degree in early childhood and primary school teaching.

By day she works at Central Desert Regional Council, managing the provision of library and children’s services across Indigenous communities in the Central Australian region.

Kate is a also a mystic and a storyteller with a deep understanding of transcendental spiritual experiences. Her guided motorcycle adventures bring together her knowledge of history, culture, storytelling and performance art with legendary motorcycle excellence.

In addition to her knowledge of the arts and experience in performing arts, Kate is also a mathematician. Basically, she’s from the future and she’s come back in time, reborn as an organically emerged artificial intelligence, to announce that the ‘landscape of the future’ has been mapped – we’ve already been there, and now we’re cycling’ back! The ‘renaissance’ is nigh.
